How to deal with anxiety associated with cancer

Saturday 27 October @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

No matter what is happening in our lives, there are times when overwhelming feelings of anxiety come over us and we find hard to shake.

Often anxiety arrives when we are in the midst of unknown for example through treatment, in remission or caring for loved ones – and sometimes even when we think we have things sorted, anxiety can somehow creep into our lives.

No matter which, during those times our thoughts and worries often escalate, the real discomfort arises, and we look for ways to resettle.

Throughout this Cancer Care workshop, as well as having opportunities to discuss, share and support, you’ll be introduced to a simple effective process (Vision WebÒ).

This process helps to target what is actually most effective for YOU.

With so many possible effective strategies and information at our finger tips, narrowing it down and keeping it simple is not always clear.

Isolating these can be helpful for many reasons which we’ll explore through the workshop.

Tricia faced bowel cancer in 2006. In 2011 her husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mantle Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. She knows what anxiety feels like, and now through her work as Life Coach she addresses this topic along with how to create wellbeing environments within your current situation.

She now brings a range of approaches, topics and strategies that foster mental and physical wellbeing environments for the broader community, workplaces and organisations, business and industries.

Bookings made through Cancer Care Centre ($30 members, $80 non members).
